Bryson Shaffer started racing at 6 years old in a quarter midget and he has since followed in his grandad's footsteps in the stock car racing world. In 2018, Shaffer began racing legend cars at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, and that year he was named the B.H. Holmes Construction Legends Rookie of the Year. Shaffer was then named the B.H. In October of 2021, he was named the pro late model Rookie of the Year at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and finished 5th in points overall. In 2022, Shaffer ran a full schedule at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and visited Montgomery Motor Speedway and Five Flags Speedway each a few times. Shaffer ended up 4th in championship points at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Out of the 18 races Bryson competed in in 2022, he had 13 top 10 finishes, 4 top 5 finishes, and 1 podium finish.
